Question for all those ladies out there?
Do you think it's bad Karma to get married on your mother's birthday?
I just thought I would ask considering I am getting married this year and one of the dates we are looking at is the same day as my mom's birthday. We have two dates for November and two for December.
My Dilemma is really is basically what if we were travelling to some unknown country and I miss her birthday because it's my wedding anniversary?
What do you think?
Please advise,

Thank you,
Thank you, so much for making it sound so much better:-).
I just started thinking about what I could do for her at my reception considering it's on her birthday? If we have the oppurtunity of being able to.

I don't see anything wrong with it.
Dave's cousin got married on his other cousin's bday, and the bride gave the bday cousin roses. Called her up near the DJ and said some sweet stuff about her and presented her with roses.

There's nothing wrong with getting married on your moms' birthday! It would probably be a great 'gift' to her to see her daughter so happy and getting married on her day.

Should I ask her for her permission?
Should I ask for her permission to do so? she is turning 51 this year:-).
The other thing is I have been very accomodating towards my wedding for others considering I had to change it completely back to where I am from but initially I wanted to get married in Hawaii.
What do you think?

sweetie its your wedding day and your fiance's.
I'd love Hawaii but know that won't happen so I'll have my day here but the wedding will be what we want not what others want.
It would be nice to ask your mom,
if you choose but if thats the day you want go for it.
This is your day

Any day you get married is going to be someone's b-day, LOL.
And believe me, it's not the end of the world if you were to be out of town on her b-day. A phone call is easy.
