Default How much would you sell cds for?

My dh and I aren't in agreement, LOL. Our yard sale is tom.

We have a ton of older cds we are finally getting rid of.

So how much? I was thinking 10 for $1 just to get rid of them. He says 5 for $1.

    Help.

if i were at a garage sale and saw 5 cd's for a buck, i would be all over that!!! - i think you could even sell them super well at a quarter a piece. i buy used cd's at the thrift store all the time and they are never less than a dollar a piece. i think youd move them at at a quarter a piece, if towards the end of the sale you notice that you still have some left over, then i'd go to 10 for a dollar just to get rid of them.

    happy garage sale-ing!

I am currently selling CD's on our local yard sale website for $1 a piece - perhaps I should lower my price.

CD's are expensive and if they are not scratched and you have the case I wouldn't sell them for less than $1 a piece, but that's just me. Maybe 50 cents each or 3/$1...

If you are going to sell them really cheap you might be better off trading them in and getting new music to listen too.

    Paula,

Since we are in the same city thought I would chime in. The going rate around here is about $1 per CD. If it were me, I would not price them any lower than $0.50 each.

Did you get to run an ad in the Bulletin Board?

    Good luck tomorrow.

Yes, Neely I did. I have an ad in the Advertiser, Craig's List, and the Bulletin. I also posted signs on Taylor Rd. & Copperfield.

If they are in good condition...I pay usually $1-$1.50 per cd at yard sales...as they are $13-15 new. I am having a yard sale next week and I have about 30 cd's to sell and I am putting $1 each on them.

I would start them at 5/$1 then towards the middle of the yard sale, lower them to 10/$1 if there ay left... you can say 25 cents each or 5/$1 then change it to 25cents each or 10/$1.

Personally if I saw CD's 5/$1 I would snatch them up REAL quick!

Alrighty...the majority has won me over, lol...I now have the box with the cds marked $1. I have over 100 cds in there...even if I only got 50 cents each that's at least $50.

I'm almost done pricing my yard sale. I'm so hoping the weather holds for me.

I've got $50 of change. I even sold $10 of stuff to the contractors working on my house today, LMAO!

So far on Craig's List I've sold $655.

Wish me mega luck as most of this money is going back to the contractors.

I would never even bat an eyelash at spending $1 for a CD at a yard sale. At .50 they should go very well! Good luck tomorrow.
