Another new member from Delaware! Welcome

You'll love it here. I became a member just over a year ago. Now I'm a full-fledged tightwad! I live near Prices Corner in New Castle County. I wish I lived somewhere more rural... when I was growing up we had a huge garden, fruit trees and chickens. I'd like to go back to 'living off the land', but I don't think my neighbors would appreciate it here!

Hello Blair,
Welcome to Frugal Village." May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."

Hi!
I live in Odessa which is pretty much in the sticks as far as most people are concerned. I have a small garden, and I plan on planting as much of the yard as my wife will allow. (She has some appreciation for grass that I do not share.) I wish I could have some goats and chickens, but the neighborhood association would pitch a fit if I did.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
