Default I feel like I lost my best friend...........

Ok, so I admit it, I'm being a it overdramatic, but I had a sad discovery today at the grocery store. I stopped in to pick a few gallons of 2.79 milk before the sale was over, and like always, waited in line for my very favourite checker. When I got there, said "Well, I need to tell you goodbye."?!?!?!!?!?!? Today was her last day. She had left a note with another checker for me to make sure she had a chace to say goodbye to me. I don;t know her from anywhere but the store, but she was always so interested in my savings, and was very interested in my frugal living lifestyle. She was always happy to see me, just as I was glad to have her be my checker. Anyway, she is going to work for my dentist, so I'll see her, but I'll sure miss her at the store!

Oh yea, as if that wasn't enough, our water is cut off to our house today because there is a leak in the mainline in my yard. It had been flooding our sump pump, and now my hubby is outside on a backhoe digging it up waiting for the plumber.

    *****sigh*****

on a good note, I did GREAT at walgreens today. Basically, I got paid about 3.00 to take Jane makeup, Colgate tbrush, a soyjoy bar and advil Pm out of the store.

Well that bites!!! At least you made it shopping, before she left! It really bites about your water too...that has got to be a drag.

WTG on your Walgreen's excursion...I just love it when they have to pay you to take the stuff.

I have a favorite cashier too, at one of the stores that I shop, so I do know what you are talking about, maybe someone just as nice will step in for her cashier duties, and you will enjoy talking to her also. Sending you hugs!

Well as fruagl people let us find the "bright" side.

I bet your favorite cashier will be making better money, with better hours at the dentists office and you can chat longer while you wait for your appointments.

I think that is so nice that she left you a note. I am sure she is going to be missed by many if she is that pleasant and thoughtful to the customers.

    Wink

So sorry. It's hard enough to get through the checkout
line but when you find someone that you like you feel
more comfortable and able to ask questions and get
inside info. Hope you find another favorite cashier.
