Welcome Valanne.I am from Upstate NY also (Oneonta). I now live in South Jersey. You will learn alot of great tips here. Budgeting your finances is the key. I have been a SAHM for 4 yrs now. We are debt free and have separate savings account for the kids and also one for myself and DH.
You can be a SAHM but to live comfortably, it does take some work. Im sure you can do it.
