Another newbie from Texas
Hi everyone.
I just discovered these forums and so far they look great! I followed a link here from Homesteading Today forums.
A little about me: 30 yrs old, computer programmer, no kids, 1 Great Dane, 1 cat, and a wonderful husband.
For many years I have had dreams of living the "simple" life but in my head I always had a picture of country living. Well, thankfully I finally woke up! I realized I can live simply even in the burbs.
This year I am actively being aware of our spending and where our money goes. DH and I are both on the same page in that we want to get out of debt completely, including the house!
Last year we paid off my car, this year we will pay off his car, and then we will work on the house!
Well, I won't ramble on more. I hope to learn a lot here (sure I will!) and get to know you fine folks.
Edit: Oops! Here's my questionnaire.
