The winter that won't go away!!
Is it just me or is this the winter that just won't go away?

It is April the snow should be melting and it should be at least in the 40's but yet again..................It is snowing!!
I just can't take it anymore. It is cold and yuchy again.
I guess I should be grateful that I don't live in the northern part of the state where the snow is still piled up past peoples first story windows and up to their roof.
Okay, I'm done now.

There are still some snowbanks and snow in the woods hanging around, but my yard is completely clear. It managed to get up to 60 yesterday and today hit about 55...I am so ready for warm weather!!!

I have about a foot of ice on my porch, some melted today. I couldn't afford to buy a snow shovel when mine broke or buy ice melt, lol i'll be happy when that melts

We're having an unusually early spring... Wasn't even a dreadfully hard winter, either... Summers here are lovely...70's...no A/C required.
We usually still have loads of snow on the ground at this time of year, but the yard is nearly clear already!
It's a rare spring, but I'll take it! Bring on summer!!

Now that's what I keep saying to my family.
If it doesn't get better soon we are emigrating.
Texas does appeal to me a lot.
Any other places where it is reasonably good weather most of the time?
I have also promised that I wil NEVER EVER moan about the summer being too hot or about having to water the garden very day.*Avril*

I'll move to Texas for the winter, but have to have my change of season here in New England. There is nothing prettier than our fall foilage.
BTW-Have some friends that love Texas-said the people there could not have been friendlier!

We are having the longest winter too. I need to get outta here. I donnot like the rain or snow. I NEED WARM WEATHER!!! I am satisfied with 20+ celcius and a lot of sun. That's not too much to ask for, is it?

We're having a gorgeous bright and shiny sunny but
chilly (I think it's about 55) day here. But the tree's
are finally budding and the grass is green.
Spring is just around the corner.
