New from New Mexico
Hi!
I live in New Mexico, am nearing retirement and really feeling the weight of rising gas prices as I commute 40 miles each way to work 5 days a week.
I look forward to learning, from everyone here, tips and information to become more frugal in my day-to-day life.
Something's got to give....and it looks like it will be people like me. Sigh.
If there are any other New Mexicans here, I'd be interested in learning local hints and tips for being frugal in the Land of Enchantment...

Welcome! Good luck on your frugal journey.
How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

Welcome to Frugal Village!
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
