Morning all!
It isn't sunny here, but I'm just thankful that it is not raining or snowing.
Today my sis and I are going to take DD to get stockings and shoes for her First Communion. I may also buy her some capri's if I can find anything on sale.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

We are having a family reunion, today! Big crowd!! We have it once a year on the Sunday that is closest to my Great-Grandfather's birthday. He had 11 children and one of his children had 11 children and so on from there. There is always at LEAST 100 people, usually more. So, I am happy that the sun is shining, today. I believe our high is only going to be 59, but at least it's not raining. I am making a Pineapple Upside Down Cake to take, which is baking right now. Yum! Yum!
I'm also excited because last night, DD17 and I went looking for shoes to go with her prom dress and found a pair that looks as though they were dyed to match!
Hope everyone has a great day!

The BUMMER part:
Not so Sunny here. Its chilly and damp and will rain on and off all day. We have two outdoor soccer games in this. This is much worse than when it is just REALLY cold. The soaked kids (and parents) are always miserable.
The GOOD part:
Other than the two games today is for relaxing and just puttering around the house. (Puttering is much different for me thancleaning or straightening. It just means I do WHATEVER sounds good at the moment
and don't worry about anything I'm SUPPOSE to or SHOULD be doing.

Today DH, DD and I will be heading to the Flea Market to see what goodies we can find.
Other than that, DH is going to check my breaks and add some break fluid to my car, lol... DD and I will be straightening up the house while DH is doing this.

:sunny: but cool here today. Wish it were raining.......
Gripey and I are up and having our coffee and checking our boards and email. He'll cook brunch in a bit, Dad will most likely come over to eat with us. I think Gripey's gonna go into the office to work a while and I'm going to play with printing off dd's wedding pics. I'm hoping I don't waste a lot of ink and paper.....
Oh well, even if I do, it's still gonna be so much cheaper than prof. pics (which she didn't want anyway). I'll do a workout and watch Big Bro tonite (it's on, right?).

I'm going to be cleaning floors today, they could all use a good mopping. After that, I'll help dh stack wood. Darn Beaver was trying to steal some last night (found some at the edge of creek bank & below) & is now public enemy #1. With oil prices the way they are, how dare "he" steal our fuel for next winter?!

The sun wants to shine here today, it's really trying to this morning. I am having a cup of coffee and oatmeal, while finalizing a list for Aldi and the Dollar Tree. I hope to put only $10 in gas in the car today to get me through the work week. That's it for errands outside the house.
I have 3 loads of laundry left to wash today (I hope to get a little help from my fiance with this), a little vacumming (especially the furniture), dusting, sweeping, clean the closet mirrors and the dreaded "Bathroom."
I will get our crock pot chicken meal started soon and we have left over chili and cornbread for lunch (from last night's dinner). Later I will curl up with a good book and relaxing cup of tea
.

It finally feels like spring here today. It's supposed to get into the 60's. It's too muddy from our storms this week to do anything outside so I'll be catching up on indoor chores. It will be nice to open windows and air out the house.
I'm also going through the refrigerator and cupboards and planning our menu for next week. Tomorrow will be errand day, then my first week of full time work Tuesday - Saturday.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning everyone. Today I am nursing a stupid cluster headache that started at 10 am yesterday. Uggghh.... Also a nice visit from MIL expected. DS is having a long sleepover this week so, gotta make them clean up today. Our Media room is a mess!
Might make a trip to CVS w/ MIL if I feel ok later. Other than that just resting.
Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Yesterday I wiped down two closets and threw out a bunch of stuff. Took longer than I thought it would. Today I woke up early and did four loads of wash then did my walk. Still need to vacuum area rugs and sweep and wash floors. Also need to make a grocery list for tomorrow. Will probably go to CVS to pick up a fan after I shower.

Unpacking from our trip and doing laundry. Picked the pets up from the boarder, they have all had baths and nails done.Kentucky is a beautiful state- loved the horse races. It's good to be home though.

So glad you liked my state!! You'd be surprised how many people think that KY is full of "dumb hicks". There really is alot to do around here!!
It's cold and rainy here today. We were bad - slept late and missed chuch. So far I've taken a shower, looked at the paper, and now I'm cutting some coupons, and I've got a load of laundry in. It's funny that I hung cloths out to dry on Thursday and Friday. Now, I'm washing and drying inside in hopes that it will warm the house up a bit. I really don't want to turn the heat on!! I think I'll also bake a cake and cook some brown rice in the oven. So, a lazy day here for me.
Have a nice Sunday everyone!
