New & Question...
Okay, so I am very new to this. In fact, I wasn't totally sure how to get started, but I am working on a budget as we speak. But I went to Dave's website to check it out.....did you guys pay for the plan???
TIA,
Heather

Many of us found the book, were given the book, read it from the library. I bought a copy as I read it often to get back on track. Best $9 I've spent.

I ordered his book, The Total Money Makeover. It is a good source for information. I would recommend it.

We didn't sign up for anything and had already been working the debt snowball plan (not Dave's original idea) for a few years when Gripey (my dh) bought his books. I'd highly suggest you get one of his books. Very good info in there.

First, I would invest in the book..ususally about $20 at our bookstore or look on line for it cheaper. His site "the totalmoneymakerover" does charge you a fee each month to belone. Althoug you sign up and can get the first 30 days for free and can cancel at anytime. If nothing else, listen to daves archives of his radio shows on your computer, I do this when I am cleaning the house.
taking one day at a time, trying to get rid of debt!!
