my posts aren't counting up right
I went to my user cp and my post count said 75, this one being 76, I know its not a big deal, but I just was wondering why it says 68 on my actual posts..... I know I don't post alot but i would like the ones I do to count, please and thank you !!!!!! Tee Hee !!!!!!

Not sure why they have differing counts, but I do know that posts made in the General Chat and Welcome Wagon forums don't count towards your post count

The posts in General chat do not count towards your total.
If you get active in a particular topic, cooking, quilting, family, etc etc your post count will increase and we will all have had a great topic of discussion that we can all learn from and enjoy. For instance, if you say, had an easy way to remove burrs from a cats fur, go post it. I bet someone here would benefit greatly from it. Or you found a great way to unclog your gutters, post it. Things like this encourage discussion, are topic (and forum) specific and are a great way to start likeminded conversation.

I should have amended to say post it in Pets, home improvements, etc. Whatever forum would be appropriate for the topic of your thread in particular. It's not to discourage general topics of chat, it's to encourage growth in other headings.
