Red face Please everyone...cross your fingers!

As lots of you know, we are in the process of trying to sell our house.

We had an open house on Sunday and 7 groups came to look at it. Then we had 3 showings yesterday.

Tomorrow, someone is coming for a 2nd look. This is our 1st second look since the house went on the market at the end of March. I cannot even tell you how much my stress and debt levels would decrease if the house finally sold.

We had to temporarily rehome our cats, the mortgage is high, we feel like guests in our own home because we had to de-personalize it...UGH! I just want to get an offer and get it sold.

So please, please, please keep your fingers crossed and send all your good vibes my way. :

A 2nd look is always a good sign. We've sold 3 houses in the past 16 years, and have ALWAYS sold to the couple who wanted a "second look at the house"

Good luck! Let us know! Are you getting any type of feed back from the agent after people are looking?

Yeah, that's why we had to re-home the cats. Finding temporary housing for 4 felines is not easy task!

One is at my husband's ex-wife's house. One went to my ex but he couldn't get along with my exes kitty's.

So what we are doing now is, on days when we have showings, the cats go to work with CBG. He has a back room at his store that we made into a kitty apartment. Anyway, this weekend we are taking Tasha & Jessie to Ohio to live with my parents until we are settled someplace else.

TJ, the one who had to come back from my ex, will stay with us and just go to work with CBG on showing days.

    It's such a hassle!

We took out all the toys and posts and stuff and we hide everything that is in teh house completely for showings.

Honestly, you cannot even tell we have pets right now.

I miss Gizmo already...I'm gonna be a basket case after we take Tasha and Jessie to my folks.

But other than that, we haven't had any negative feedback. And the open house and showings yesterday were the first we've had in our cat-free house.

We just put our house on the market and I know what you mean by depersonalizing your home. I have to keep reminding myself that I don't want it to be my home anymore and that I'm getting it ready to be someone else's home. I don't have the indoor cats, but I have an outdoor dog that is used to roaming the acreage. We have to be ready to pen him for showings.

Keep telling yourself that it will soon be over and then you can get on with life!!!! I wish you the best.

Well, we had the showing last night and still haven't heard anything. *sigh* Looks like we won't get an offer from those people.
