    Default Went to Dr , thanks everyone

    Thank you for all your helpful advice. I did go to the dr today. I left the house at 8:30 and didn't get home until 1:30 but it was important. The Dr said it was pretty bad. I will keep all your tips on hand to try when I think I feel one coming on. I think a home remedy can work if you get it asap but once it's gotten as far as mine has I think the only option is to see the DR. It ended up costing me 1o4.00 but that certainly is a bargain compared to a hospital stay.

    Good, I am glad you went. You are right about catching it early for the home remedies - very useful info. BUT a uti can become extremely nasty and end up causing a dangerous blood infection (not common but worth keeping in mind)

    I have passed out twice in my life from the pain of a UTI.
