    Default Free Turkey

Yeah, I just wanted to tell someone how super stoked I am. We were cleaning out our giant walk in freezer at work (I work for a hospital) and came across some turkeys that were given to our doctors at X-mas. Anyway, one doctor had moved away and the other just never pick his up. So I call the doctor asked if he wanted it, he said no. Then I talked to my boss, and she said that I could have it, because it has been in our freezer for too long, plus it's smoked so we can't feed it to our patients. So today I got a 10 or 12 pound turkey for free. Now, I just have to figure out what I want to do with. Multiple things of course!! Just wanted to share my happiness.

    Awesome!

I just made us a turkey dinner last night.

(I froze the bones and bit of meat on them for soup on another evening,, and we're having leftovers for dinner tonight.)

Sweet. Free food that will make more than one meal is always a welcome thing.

You just can't beat that price.

I use turkey in almost any meal that you would use chicken it.
