Indiana earthquake
There was an earthquake this morning in Indiana. I know we have some FV's from threre. Are you guys ok? Any damage?
We felt the aftershocks down here in southern KY, and they were pretty strong. I couldn't imagine what it was like to be in the actual thing!

We felt in here in the Grand Rapids, Mi area too. DD woke up and ran downstairs because her bed was shaking. It is the big story on all of our local news stations now.

we are in central IN, and my family felt it but I was in the basement loading laundry in the dryer and didn't feel a thing!!! My mom called and said she could see things on her end table shaking.... I did find some things fell off the fridge door.
My daughters' boyfriend goes to college in Vincennes, and they were evacuated from their dorms, although everything was okay..Sheri

I live about 30 miles southeast of Indianapolis. It woke up everyone in the house. I haven't seen any cracks anywhere, but it definitely shook the whole house.

We live in MO, right on the New Madrid fault line! And at 4:36, I awoke to the bed pitching back and forth. Hubby is a restless sleeper and first I thought he was thrashing around. I felt his legs and they were still, but the bed kept rolling. I looked at the ceiling and could see the light fixture swaying. Dogs were barking.
St. Louis radio said it was 5.4. It caused minor damage there, according to the radio: some concrete was shook loose from an overpass and Kings Hiway had to be closed for a while. And a gas line ruptured; they think it was caused by the quake.
No damage here that we know of or that we can see. I've been thru several quakes in MO and they all felt like a gentle massage. When we lived in Japan, we awoke to a quake that threw us off our futons. Luckily we were only a few inches off the floor!Spiritual:

We live about an hour from Indianapolis and it woke us up. Our bed was shaking and you could hear the house making noise from the shift. No damage though. Thank goodness!!!

Glad to hear everyone is ok!
I'm in Des Moines IA and apparently some people felt it here. Crazy!
I saw on the news they showed a newscast that was going on while the quake happened, it was wild, it looked like the camera behind the weather guy was shaking like the wind was blowing, but then you could see that he was shaking too.
So glad everyone is ok and no major damage!

We just now had another quake (about 10:15 or so). I was sitting at the computer (laptap) and the screen just started to wave back and forth. My chair began to shake and the lights shook. I was listening to the radio and the announcer said, "Our computers are shaking! The mikes are shaking!"
Don't know if it was an aftershock or another separate quake. EEK!Spiritual:
