Sleepy Sunday
What is going on in everyone else's workd today??? Yesterday was very hectic for us with three soccer games (one three counties away), an evening/night gathering at a friends, and the two boys being hit with the stomach virus DH had a few days ago just hours apart.
Today is definately a day of resting and puttering. This is what I like to do with my Sundays anyway.
~ DH is going up to the soccer fields to help prep the fields for a tournament next weekend.
~ The boys will be on sick/resting duty
~ Me ... I will probably
****Do some laundry
****mend a stuffed animal or two
****read through the ads
****keep check on the boys
****sip coffee
****surf the net
****prep lunches for tommorrow
Other than the boys being sick I REALLY like the sound of today. What a peaceful sounding day.

I hope your boys are feeling better soon!!
I'm still in recovery mode
I look like this guy --->
I may try to do some laundry today, it's going to be another beautiful day to hang them outside. I haven't had to use the dryer all week!
Dh is making me breakfast...soft scrambled eggs lol. I can't wait! Soft foods are already boring the heck out of me.
Other than that, I don't think we're doing much of anything.Total Debt Paid Off $92,234

Very quiet cloudy and cool day here also.

Having the family over tonight to celebrate Jacks birthday(real day is the 22nd). Dd spent the night & made 2 pumpkin pies that are cooking in the oven now. B'day boy loves his pp.

I've got some work to do in the kitchen. I made the lasagna and other things yesterday, just have a salad, garlic bread & one of his fav appetizers, stuffed brussel sprouts to make.
Last min vac, table setting and cleaning & we are all set. Want to get it all done & set early so I can go play.
Family is coming over early afternoon and we'll probably get in some killer croquet and bocce ball matches. The weather is perfect, low 70's & sunny. Yeehaw!
Good health and a lovely day wished for all!~*Darlene*~

I hope we're not doing ANYTHING, today. LOL! DD17 didn't get in last night from the prom until 2 AM. So, of course, we've all slept in. I do have a few loads of laundry to do. But.. I am having a lazy kind of day.

Gripey and I are quietly puttering around, drinking coffee for now. Dd #2 is home and she works nites so we're trying to let her sleep for a while (probably till noon) before we start making noise and cooking brunch, etc... . Dad will probably come over and eat and visit and we plan on a quiet day at home. Gripey might get a call to go work for a while (deliveries) but hopefully not too many......although it is the time of year for it.

Since it snowed today, it is very cold weather... DUH!!! I need to:
~clean kitchen spotless
~do general pick up in all other areas of house
~vacuum
~sweep/mop
~Pick DS2 up from my brothers house (20 minute drive)
~Take DD to basketball game by 12:15(game is at 1:00 and pick up two of her teammates)
~DS2 has a soccer game at 2:15 (needs to be there at 1:45 and I will miss the beginning of it-he can walk to it, it is across the way at the community center fields)
~make dinner
Our dryer is out of commision... I can't stand not having a dryer. So I will probably do a bunch of washing and either wait for the dry to be fixed tomorrow, or I will go to the laundry mat and do it all at one time there.Bonnie mom to

It's sunny and beautiful here today, in the low 70's. I am just getting around this morning. I have 3 more loads of laundry to wash and dry. I need to fill my gas tank (at least as full as $25 worth will get me this week) I plan on cleaning my car inside and vacuuming and then washing my car on the outside ($6 at car wash, well worth the splurge to not have to do it myself.) Bring a few plants to my mom's house for TLC and start a few African Violet plants from some of the kinds my mom has: white and some purple verigated. Clip coupons and organize coupon planner. Sip tea and relax a little on the balcony later tonight.

Took my walk and went to farmer's market. Need to sweep and mop the floors today. Other than that I can just rest and take it easy today. May try to give myself a pedicure today.

DH and DS have gone to cut a couple of yards.
DD is resting and recovering from her surgery. She is on the couch with her nose burried in a James Patterson book.
Once DH and DS get home the yard needs to be cut. Then we are going to paint my craft room.
DS needs to go to the batting cage at some point.
DH is going to grill out some steaks, sausages and ribs tonight. While he does that I will straighten uo the house. My dad is spending the night with us tomorrow so he can keep an eye on DD while we go to DS's baseball game.DD (20)
