Schwans
I was looking through a Schwans catalog awhile back and ordered some clam strips, the cost per ounce was cheaper than my local stores. I thought it was delicious. I also see some things like chicken tenders, curly fries that look the same as some of the fast food restaurants near me and the price is cheaper through Schwans than the fast food places.
I got a catalog where I can get a 5% discount plus the it's delivered to my door.
I was thinking of placing an order for a few things. Has anyone been unhappy with the quality?

They have always been good here, the food excellent, but several years ago they were expensive. Maybe I need to check them out again.

I'm checking out the site right now.

Food looks pretty good. The prices are no worse than
restaurants and they deliver in my area.
Think I might check them out. Thanks

we order some things from them semi-regular. I wouldn't worry if you don't like something. They've taken things back and given me refunds.

I have never bought anything that I wasnt happy with from them. My only complaint is that they are very pricey. I have seen recently that they pull a truck into a parking lot, put out some signs and turn on a flasing light and sell right there in the parking lot which I think that is an excellent idea, especially with the pric of gas, Im sure this is helping to keep their costs down. Their 5 cheese garlic bread is to die for!!

Every 2 weeks . I just love the mozzerella sticks and breaded mushrooms.
I also love their ice cream
Little pricey but it would be that expensive in gas to go get some from the store.
this week we'll get some onion rings too.

My girlfriend uses Schwan and we had their family style lasagna when we were there last. It was delicious and having read the ingredient list I was amazed to see that there were no artificial flavors or preservatives and I could pronounce and knew what every ingredient was. I looked through the catelog twice to see if there was anything I was interested in as well.
Some of the items are pricey if you are accustomed to buying bulk or a whole pork tenderloin instead of 4 chops so I would say pick and choose what is the better price, the quality is good overall.

ive never had a bad experience with them. and although some of the stuff is high, i figure with the amount of gas id use to go 30 miles into town and 30 miles back, im actually saving in the long run. never did the math, but i tell myself that anyway cuz their icecream is SO good! and the chicken wings, and chicken drummies, the pizza, curly fries..... its all good.

I've always gotten good food from them, but it's just too expensive for the amount of food you get. I could make the same thing for much cheaper and healthier.

Ive always thought they were expensive. But, I am on the childcare food program. There are only two chicken nuggets that are creditable on the food program (in phx) and Schwans has one of them. I thought I would give it a try again. I usually buy the chicken dinos from Costco.
I don't like their ice cream though.
