no more projects
i feel terrible i cant share anything i make.
so i've come to the conclusion it's better not to share than to share and try to describe - which i do horribly anyway.
i dont have a cam, can't afford one, and feel super bad when ppl ask for pic's or PM me about it in a negative manner.
sorry

I just try to picture it in my head. I love hearing about people's projects. It inspires me. Yeah, I wish I could see them, but I understand not having a digital camera.
We have one because we can't remember to develop film. Well, that and we homeschool and the pictures document what we do. I figure you can't be charged with educational neglect if you have tons of pictures of stuff that they do. And, who can argue with a picture. I also make a note in Outlook (use it to keep track of our lives). I even have the date on the camera so that it shows up on the pictures.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998

Someone PM'd you about not being able to share in a negative way? That's just wrong.

I know I replied to your thread earlier today saying that I'd love to see a picture, but I meant no ill-will. I hope you didn't take it that way. I am used to saying that on a sewing board that I belong to because we all show pictures. It's certainly not a "requirement", just an expression of excitement to hear about others who enjoy sewing as much as I do.
Please don't stop sharing just because you can't share pictures. I still love hearing about them, and I'm sure others do too

ooohhh!

you all are SO sweet.
i'm still going thru a hard time, so i guess i took the PM's too personally.
A couple of them was a rather "not nice", but I'll forgive. Maybe they were having a hard time understanding me?
And I've taken no requests for pic's out of context, it just makes me sad.
Nonetheless, it's just too sweet that others still want to hear about the silly things i make.
Since I got my sewing machine several months ago, I just can't stop.
I'm making gifts right and left, clothes are the hardest thing for me.
But it's my
that keeps me feeling grounded. (among other crafts)
Anyway, you all are great and have made my day!
thank you, sincerely.

I totally agree, it is no ones business whether you can afford a digital cam to post pics or not. Just share what you can description wise, if they can't deal with it, then DON'T read the post and they should keep their opinions to themselves!

BTW, I think you do a great job describing what you make!

Even though you may not be able to share pics, your posts can inspire and give ideas to others & that's a very good thing.

Well, how about you just write a post for me

I think it is totally rude that someone would PM you about your lack of pics in a negative manner. Please continue to share with words what you're working on and shame on those that are insensitive to another Villager who is digital cameraless - with all that is going on in this world right now - that's the least someone should be worried about is whether you can share a pic or not.

A negative pm for that reason is just plain stupid.
I love reading about projects people are doing.
