Now all I need is a rich relative! Hmmm, or a sugar daddy...

The nursery down the street is selling off it's business. Which includes the nursery itself AND a second business that is empty. It would make a great coffee shop, craft consignment store, thrift type store, bakery, etc etc etc. They want 165,000 (maybe less!!!) for the whole shebang...nursery, lock, stock, barrel, and the empty-make-it-what-you-want-it place. If I had a rich family member that could get it for me, I'd take over the nursery and rent or lease out the other part. I am practically drooling!!
There's no way on this planet I could get the place on my credit or bank account. But I am sooooo tempted.~~ Missy ~~

Missy- could you find someone to go in with you and owner finance? Then rent out the space to help make the payment?( If you have a bakery I would love to buy some cream puffs or cannoli.Ones without burnt bottoms like mine.)

I wish, but I would have to find a person that could take on the $ aspect and I could do the books and grunt work.

I think almost everyone has the dream of going into business for themselves .... heck even i would love to do that... either a bulk food store or a pet store ( that sold raw diets for pets)

I vote for finding a sugar daddy. Perhaps much more fun (?) than a relative breathing down your neck.
I think having a little bakery/coffee shop would be fun. Can you find a partner (business, that is)to go in with you?Mom to two crazy boys

Nah, I don't see it happening, someone else would have to put their credit on the line, and their funds. I have no funding at all, and my credit is trashed.
