    Yippee!!!!!! We'll be getting ours a bit later because we did our taxes by mail this year but we should have that money in about 2 weeks or so!

    It also depends on the last two digits of your SS#. Dh has a low # so he is among the first, but mine isn't scheduled until July.

    I am confused. If you filed "Married, Joint" wouldn't your stimulus rebate come as one check? That is what I was expecting. They send one check for the tax refund, why would this be different? I just assumed they would go by whoever has their SSN listed first on the tax refund (usually the head of household). If you filed seperately from your spouse, then you would get seperate checks.

    You are correct. If you filed jointly, it will be based on the head of households social. Lucky for me---I am the hoh and we are getting it early!

    I hope this means they'll be able to send out the checks earlier than anticipated. ETA: my understanding is that this earlier distribution of rebates is for direct deposit.

    Sorry, guess I should have stated that DH and I filed separately. I file HOH and he files Married filing separately. That's what we are getting 2 different checks
