I know exactly what you mean.
Thanks, that is sweet of you to say.
My dad is the coolest, so laid back and easy going. My world revolves around him. He has a huge scar on his head from his accident so he always has a ball cap on. His friends nicknamed him "Ridge Head" because of the scar on his head and "Hooks" because of the artificial arms. He has a great sense of humor and loves his nicknames.Last edited by Neeley; 04-26-2008 at 01:17 AM.

I wear a basic one piece, and I have a zip up cover-up.. great when it start to get cooler as you leave. I wear slip on sandals/flip flops.
Can't leave for the beach without sunscreen, sunglasses, I pod and a GREAT book. I also like to take by beach chair.. the kind that sits right on the ground but has the back support.
Can't wait for summer!!

My belly isn't as much of a problem as my thighs and behind are. So, I wear bikinis, but the bottoms are short bottoms. And, since a bout with skin cancer many moons ago, the bikini doesn't come out until I'm about to head into the water...I'm pretty covered up until that point.

I wear two piece..no bikini. tankinis are cute, or halter tops. I have lots of different types of bottoms, I mix and match. No thongs though!
I really need to find a nice one piece. I am not happy with the ones I tried on so far.
No cover up, except towel. And wear flip flops, or barefoot.
I bring sunglasses and sunscreen to beach. Then the bag of toys is always in car for kids, along with bottled water and fruit for some reason!

Ew, bathing suits. Haven't owned one in 15 years or more.
My clothing of choice for the beach are shorts and a t-shirt.
Footwear - flip flops of course, but then again, that's my everyday footwear!
We are looking for TOTAL coverage here - I'm way too pale to be out in the sun, and being a red-head, I just burn then freckle anyway, not a good look if you know what I mean.

I wear a halter bikini with slightly higher rise bottoms, with a tank top over top. teh halter top of the bikini gets the girls up where they should be, in a way that none of the 100+suits I've tried on in the last couple of years have been able to. And I have this handy terry skirt I use as a coverup. Footwear is flips or bare feet as we don't beach..we jsut go int eh lake or across the street to my parents' pool
The beach here is COLD...and there are PEOPLE there
I like to really swim, and that's hard to do in waves too. Can't wait to get in this year...pool should be open this week cause it's heated and my parents said they would so we could have a swim the morning of the wedding!! Woo-hoo!!

I'm very picky about the bathing suit. I wear a speedo one-piece with racer back. The racer back is a MUST. I need a minimizer up top and that's the only thing that keeps the girls in their proper place.
I like flip flops and a short (above knee) cover up. I really like terry cloth. It's like a towel that I don't have to hold up. lol

After 6 years of resisting swimsuits, I bought one, it is a tankini with built in support, covers the stretchmarks left by four 9+lb babies. the bottoms have a little wrap to help cover some of the "dimples". I've used it twice in the last month..lol. So it's pretty good. It's black with bright red flowers.
Accessories, sunscreen, lip balm, bug spray and sunglasses if I'm out doors. That'll be camping and a wading pool..lol. No beaches around here.
