    Default picnics

how often - if at all - do you go on picnics?

is there a preferred place you all go to each time?
or do you change it up?

What do you usually do on your picnics?

    Me?
we go on "a few" each spring/summer.
It's not a regular thing, just whenever the mood hits.
I got dh yrs ago a picnic basket as he had told me when we met he'd NEVER been on a picnic! So I decided I'd change that!!

We like to go to different parks, beaches, lakes... whatever.
And there have been times we've had picnics INSIDE the house... and sometimes in our front yard (there is no back yard).

We always bring discs for frisbee, baseballs/tennisballs to toss around, books to read... or in my case, crafts or crosswords! LOL

I love picnic's! We go as often as we can. It's been so warm here in CT that I have already been on two. Dh and I took off last Saturday went to our favorite seafood restaurant, from there we went to the beach, hiked and enjoyed the look, feel and smell of the ocean. Not really a picnic but it felt so good to play. DD, my niece, myself and my grandson went to a state park near here on Wednesday we packed up sandwiches, fruit, drinks and chips. No hiking with the baby but we did take a small walk, talked up a storm, and enjoyed the warmth of the sun for a couple of hours.

We have a 28 Model A Ford we take picnicing. I pack a cooler. I have a picnic basket I also use. I always pack a tablecloth, sandwich, cheese, treat & ice tea. We usually stop for ice cream and an antique store on our ride. We stop @ little town's parks or a county park. Always a good time..

Many times during the warm weather.
Whenever the mood hits we'll pack up or pick
up some food and drinks and off we go.

    There's a large state park that's a favorite but
we also love to picnic at the beach, festivals
    and concerts.

We go on lots of picnics. Mostly to the beach in the summer, but parks also. We probably go 8-10 times during the summer.

Well, we should go more than we do. However, we met up with a bunch of friends for a great picnic a few days ago at the park and it was great. I'd say we go three times a year. I'm shooting for way more this summer. I love a "romantic" picnic with wine, cheese, etc. Most of ours are more along the lines of pbj...
