Happy Meals were $2.29 here(without drinks) last time I checked. It's been a couple of weeks, though.

I stopped by McD's the other day as I was craving a fountain coke!! I love fountain drinks. I was surprised that the actually lowered the prices of drinks. All sizes - S, M, L are are all $1.00 here.
I asked the guy if people were still spending a $1 on a SM when they could get a large - He said "Yea, isn't that dumb!" LOL
It was a nice surprise though.

The only fast food I eat is off the dollar menu. I've long thought that the meals were a rip-off. But then, I drink only water, which is free, and I don't want the expense of a drink added to the meal.

omg,

Guess we won't be visiting these places.
Higher prices and burning gas to get there.

Anyone remember when you could get a hamburger, fries and a coke and get change back from your dollar? Sheesh, I feel old!
