Have you become more of a homebody because of the rising prices?
I do what I can to combine errands after work so I don't have to drive into town on my day off. Luckily, I have a couple friends that live close by to hang out with.

Yes, I am more of a homebody. I live 10 miles from town. My Jeep gets 17 MPG, so I don't get out near as much.

I am more of a homebody this year but mainly because I have retired. That means less time out on the road. We still do our normal activities, but try to combine errands.
Actually, I am cherishing being a homebody and not having to be driving so much. It's a kinder, gentler, simpler life.Spiritual:

I was always a homebody too, one car I had for 9 years and only put 20,000 miles on it.But I have to have a running car in my driveway or I go nuts.

My habits are changing...I don't get up & go like I used to and paying $3.69 for a gallon of gas just irks me to no end. Now that the weather is changing I don't mind staying home so much, I can play in my flower beds for hours on end.

I am ! And I like it just fine. The public tends to annoy me. I just told dh today that I would like to move out even further.

Also a homebody and doing a lot less driving because
of the price of gas. I have noticed that traffic is dying
down also. Not so many cars on the road.
Doesn't bother me at all. I love being home.

Yes. I've always been a homebody and my hobbies and home have always kept me content. I see DH being more of a homebody now that gas is so high.

I am a bit of a homebody but I like to get out on the weekends. I telecommute to work and some days the only time I get out of the house is to walk my daughter to school in the morning and again to pick her up in the afternoon if my husband can't pick her up. She's an only child and pretty shy, so I like to get her to parks, the library and other places on the weekend to encourage her to socialize more. I am still quiet and shy myself, and have very few friends by choice and I've never been 'lonely' but I don't want my daughter to be a clone of me either.
