    Default Surgical Tape Question

    Okay, so I had to have some bloodwork and they used that surgical tape to hold the cotton in place and now I can't get the icky sticky off of my arm. Any advice??? I know there has to be something miraculous I can use to get this crap off of my arm!!!

    Try applying some oil or vaseline and working it in to the sticky residue. It may take a bit of work to get it all off.

    You can also use a little peanut butter or butter/margarine. Anything oily.

    LOL totally kidding just thought be fun to try. I usually let it dry, then pick at it and pull off slowly. Or loofa it in shower.

    I work in a hospital and the nurses ALL use the alcohol pads (the ones used to disifect stuff) or just rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball!! Good Luck

    Yep-- I was going to say rubbing alcohol, too. Either the little pads from a medical office or else soak a cotton ball. You'll have to scrub it a bit, but the alcohol will take off the sticky stuff.
