Default So stinkin' excited I have to share....

Zac is coming home on Wednesday at 11!

Wesley is really excited, but confused. Anytime someone knocks on the door, he jumps up yelling, "MY DADDY IS HERE!" Anytime we get in the car, he says, "I'm going to get my DADDY!"

On a sad note...I spent 166$ at the grocery store buying everything I thought Zac would want!

Thank god for a safe deployment!

I'm so happy and excited for you and I wish you a wonderful reunion with Zac. I think the money on groceries is well spent, especially if they are foods Zac will enjoy .

As I stood in front of the meat counter today...this was seriously my train of thought "I'll get the 15$ t-bone....he'll love it....but what if he wants ribeyes? Oh I'll get those too..but he likes those bacon wrapped sirloin fillets, but what if he wants chicken?"

YAY! I am glad he is on his way home! Children will be confused for a little bit and do expect some acting out. How long has it been since you DS and DH have seen each other in person? Also expect some changes with your DH - no matter how they are before they deploy, they have seen something so profound that it changes some of their views on things. It's not always bad neither! When my DH deployed with the first rotation in 2003 to Northern Iraq - he so appreciated just basic freedoms and embraced helping the Kurds fully and knowing that his mission was important. I am so excited for you and DS!! It will be an awesome reunion - and yes the days will poke by for the 3 days before he arrives! Best wishes!

I have prepared for the acting out--Wesley knows his limits with me...but will test Zac to see what his limits are. The last time we saw each other was in August. I can see some of the changes already with Zac--just in talking to him. He is cold all the time..no matter the temp. He said the best thing ever about getting into the states was that the signs were written in English!

Oh wow...that IS exciting. If I were you, I would have blown the grocery budget too...but I can't think of a better reason to do so! Have a wonderful reunion.

YAY!! I'm so happy for you! I think I would die if my DH was deployed again, now that we have a new baby. You're a stronger woman than I...I would have blown the hell outta the grocery budget, too.
