It's holding at $3.79/gallon for the cheapest octane at the gas station closest to me. A little further away it's $3.67/gallon.
Interesting that it didn't jump up when oil hit a record $120/barrel...yet it jumped when there was a conflict between an oil tanker and Iranian Coast Guard (?) a few days ago
They'll let us get used to this high price, then bump it up a penny or two at a time over the next month. I don't doubt by Memorial Day we will be paying $4/gallon or darned close.

This whole situation makes me so
What are people supposed to do? On Good Morning America this am, they interviewed a guy who, with his brother, built some battery system and converted his car. He's quoted as saying "if me and my brother can do this, why can't the car manufacturers?" They reported that they get 100mpg.
If you've never seen the movie Who Killed The Electric Car, I highly recommend it!

Yesterday it was 3.77 for the cheapest grade here at our little station. It's probably gone up this morning though, it seems to go up every other day. I love to go to the next town which is 30 miles away for groceries. Our little town only has a very small IGA and a Dollar General. I like to go to Walmart and Kroger but it's getting so I can't afford to make the trip.

Our's is $3.69, but the tanker is there, so I'm sure when I head home it'll be higher. They seem to raise the prices the day the tanker comes (and sometimes in between). I'm So frustrated today because I have had a book reserved through the library for over a month and it's finally in, but if I go to the library I won't have enough gas til payday.
UGH!
