    Default Ever Have A Problem With Yahoo?

    Help me if you can.

    Yahoo recently changed its mail system. My computer is older: a Macintosh iBook, and I use Safari 1.0.3. I can't upgrade to another version of Safari. And I can't afford to buy another computer. But the Yahoo changes have really hurt us. We no longer can send any email thru Yahoo. Even if I hit "Reply", I get a message saying that I must have formulated the address wrong. If I pull an address out of my Yahoo address book, I get the same message. Mind you, I always had been able before to use the addresses.

    Also, the whole left side of my Yahoo page is missing. This is the part where it tells me how many messages I have, how many emails in my spam folder, in my trash, and to empty the spam or trash. It's just gone.

    And email that used to come with graphics or pictures no longer do so. I subscribe to HGTV newsletters, but now I just get a blank page from them, and from other similar newsletters.

    Emails that I get tend to just disappear and then come back onto the page. For example, I get notices that I have Frugal Village messages. While I am reading it, the print disappears. Then it will come back.

    I have contacted Yahoo via feedback, but no answer. Does anyone else have a problem? Do you know any anwers to how to solve my problem?

    Just went and checked. I am still using Yahoo Classic, so I guess I can't help. I'm sorry.

    Are you using Yahoo Classic or Yahoo Beta? If you're using Beta, switch to Classic. There should be a link in the upper right of the screen. There are three *small* links that say Mobile | Options | Help
    Click Options and a drop down menu will open. Then select "Switch to Yahoo Classic".

    If you are already using Yahoo Classic, I would suggest using the help link to get some info from Yahoo on how to improve your usage.
