Newbie here
Hello. I wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the site, but not new to the frugal lifestyle. I have been saving my pennies since I was old enough to reach the piggy bank! I was the only kid on the block who saved her quarters rather than spending them on a pack of Bubble Gum. Now, years later, I am a SAHM to a wonderful 2 year old little boy, have a beautiful home, 2 nice cars, and a few other things and am in my mid thirties and completely DEBT FREE!!! We paid off our first home in our late 20's and after 2.5 years living in our new home, that was paid off as well. Lots of people call us "cheap" or poke fun at us, but I can say with 100% certainty, we live below our means, but definitely have nice things and enjoy life. If there is something we REALLY want, we get it, but are very smart with the day to day stuff.
I love reading books on being thrifty and I love to bargain hunt, so today I decided to search online for "frugal forums" and I found this site. I really look forward to getting to know some of you and sharing stories and information.
Take Care,
30s&DebtFree

What a great addition you'll be to this group." May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
