    Default Update on Ds#1's Colonoscopy

Ds is now back home resting comfortably. Everything went well. Crohn's and cancer were ruled out. About 1/3 of his lower intestine is inflamed, but it is much better since he has been on medicine. They took a biopsy & we should know the results in a few days. The only thing that irritated ds was....me!lol I kept pestering him yesterday to "DRINK MORE WATER" to help w/ the prep.
I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers & advice

So glad they were able to rule out Crohn's and cancer. That must be such a relief.

I'm so glad he is doing well and that 2 major dx's were overruled. I am praying that the biopsy comes out good as well.

I have diverticulosis and had to have part of my colon removed because of it last year. It was 'inflamed" and was blocking.

Lots of good thoughts to you and your DS.

Really great news hearing that the c's were ruled out. I hope he recovers from the inflammation and learns to manage it with no problems.

Glad to hear everything went well. My hubby has colon issues, so I understand what your son had to go through. Hopefully the biopsies will come back good!
