DH has a very large family and I think you just solved a problem for my in the way of Christmas presents.

Thanks for bumping this, I just got a box full of canning jars at a garage sale and these sites will sure come in handy!!!

You don't HAVE to use canning jars for these. I've used mayo jars, tea jars and such. And if they don't have to be layered- I've used quart sized baggies and put them into other containers.
