    Default Living more simply goal

I have always envied people with houses that were cluttered free. My house is cluttered because we have to much stuff. I had a room full of stuff I thought I would yard sale off but that didn't work out.

In the last 2 weeks I freecycled outgrown kids clothing, baby stuff, gave away about 6 large bags of toys and took in things to be donated. I swear we had got rid of at least a small truck load of stuff but we still have to much.

I'm hoping to have my home clutter free by Christmas.

Go for it! I'm afraid I'm not even going to attempt to join you! My house is cluttered too...and it's big...1500 sq. ft. I've been seriously thinking about sewing up some fabric though...

What a weight to be lifting off your shoulders. It really does feel good to be clutter-free. I was there and slowly it is creeping back into my life.

    Good luck with your goal!

I'm trying too...I've gotten rid of several shopping bags full, and 4 or 5 boxes full of stuff, and when I look around my house, I can't even tell. I hope the end is in sight soon.

It's a pretty even battle here on my homefront. Two of us are pretty much minimalists and two of us are clutterbugs. Hope you reach your goal.

Once I figured out that I don't need to buy stuff to feel good about myself my life has gotten so much better. I did a huge clean-out in Sept. and now I love coming home every day. I don't even think of bringing anything back into my house.

I find as my snowball is building that I am extremely happy with less mind and body clutter.

WoW! Way to go! This is something that I have decided to focus on. I have slipped up on keeping it clutter free so it's time to get serious again.

When there is too much clutter I can't function very well. If something isn't nailed down out it goes. (much to my daughters dismay!!)

Good Luck to you! I'm working on that myself. My mom and I had our LAST garage sale this summer. I went through every box in my basement and sold everything I didn't need or want. Now I just need to finish organizing the basement...

WTG! I'm joining you! I did the "fall fling," and it's made a big difference, but there's always room for improvement!
