It's kind of fun to do the impossible.
~Walt Disney
When you make a mistake, don't look back on it long. Take the reason of the thing into your mind and then look forward. Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.

I will work on my goals daily.
I will break my goals into steps and work on one step at a time.
I will look at every day as a new start.
I will reassess my goals every evening.
I will make a 'to do' list for the next day every evening.
I will pray daily for guidance to know what is important to God that day.
I will post motivational quotes around the house to encourage me.
I will remember "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me".

If I fall down, I'll get up and keep on trying.
I will come to FV for inspiration to keep going, knowing I will succeed.

I will always remember what's truly impotant.
I will let God guide me through this journey. I will pray for His guidance and submit to His will.
I will keep my eyes on the big picture.
I will not get discouraged.
I will not let my feeling tired stop me from continuing to work on my goals.
I will work together with my DH as a team, so that we can support each other in our goals.
I will be kind to myself.
I will share what I learn and my struggles with others.
I will continue learning from others for knowledge and motivation.
I will refer to the list of my goals regularly.
I will look back on 2006 with pride and a great sense of accomplishment.

I will move closer to my starting this day.
I will print and frame my gols and place them on my desk so they are there to remind me to stay true and focused.
I believe what I have written under my signature. "Life is a journey, not a destination". If I do stumble I will not give up, I will continue my journey.

I am a success in all that I do.
I am rewarded for all the work I do.
You cannot give to others unless your Self is full first
Horace - "He had the deed half done, who has made a beginning."
Leo Tolstoy - "True life is lived when tiny changes occur."
Steven Covey - Without involvement, there is no commitment. Mark it down, asterisk it, circle it, underline it. No involvement, no commitment

Monroe Forester - Hope is always available to us. When we feel defeated, we need only take a deep breath and say, "Yes," and hope will reappear.
Arthur C. Clarke - The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
Mme. Du Deffand - The distance is nothing; it is only the first step that is difficult
Ralph Waldo Emerson - What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.

I like to make affirmations that are in the present tense. To me, saying "I will..." puts it in the future. By saying "I am..." puts it in the now. It's a lot easier to believe and suceed from my experience this way.
I am happy with my life and where I am. I am in less credit card debt than last year and this is continually lowering. I am doing what I can to achieve my goals for a healthier, happier life with my family.

I will rely on god and the serenity prayer.
I will do my best to reach these goals and maintain them.
I will share with my husband what I want for us so that he too may understand and possibly share the same goals.
I will get back up again if I fall off the horse.
I will not beat myself up and abandon my goals because of a minor setback.
I will stick to tried and true methods for me yet welcome any new advice.
I will seek support and motivation rather than fall into the pity cave.
I will look for ways to expand my knowledge and better utilize my assests and abilities.

I will be happy and not let little things get me down
I will be open to advice
I will seek support

I WILL prove them all wrong.
I will show them, and more importantly, myself, that I'm capable of doing anything I put my mind to.
I will be proud of myself when I look back on this year and realize how much I've accomplished.
I will allow myself to be happy.
I will not let little things get me down.
I will accept, seek, and welcome support.
I will share my goals with Josh.
In God have I put my trust; I will not be afraid. Psalm 56:11

wow, well said. I will have to call upon God for help with this list. But I know I can accomplish it. I am excited to look back at the end of 08 and see how many I have accomplished, hopefully all of them.
I will keep the vision before me and as Habakkuk says, I will "Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
It may seem in the middle of things that its not progressing, but in the end it will speak of all the work that has gone into it. I will remind myself of that. I will find a way past obstacles and barriers, because I will see that my goals come to pass. I can do this.

I will keep my eyes on the goal but not allow it to overwhelm me.
I will also come back and read all of these wonderful quotes and ideas from time to time to help keep me on track.
Here's one of my favorite quotes that I need to use to help me not get so overwhelmed:
"There is more to life than increasing it's speed" Mahatma Ghandi
