Hmm...a bucket list. I've been giving this quite a bit of thought lately. I feel that I never really had one before. When I was younger all I wanted to do was travel to Hawaii (which I did at 18), and once I met my husband was to get married and have children. I spent the the last 21 years concentrating on raising my children and now that the youngest is about to graduate I find that I am now allowing myself to have new dreams and goals. In February, I started to work on the first item on my bucket list. Returning to school to earn my degree. It will be an associates degree and I should have that completed by August 2012. Here's the bucket list that I've come up with so far (this is in no particular order):

    1. Earn Associates Degree
    2. Travel to Mexico
    3. Travel to Bahamas
    4. Travel to Bermuda
    5. Buy a beach house
    6. Buy a cabin in mountains
    7. Travel to Italy and Sicily
    8. Live a long, healthy life
    9. To always have a close relationship with my children and grandchildren (whenever that may be)
    10. To retire with a sufficient retirement to travel and visit with family and friends.

This is still a work in progress so I'll be adding to it as time goes on.

Changed our dream...still want the cabin at the lake...but will wait till we retire to build it and use the sale of this home we live in to fund the build so there will be no debt...we'll live in the 5th wheel while the build is going on. Of course this is in 16 yrs...

I dream of owning a home outright, no mortgage. I am renting now. I have considered buying but am not 100% committed to staying in Florida, so I'm reluctant to do so. I lament that I don't own anything, but should probably feel grateful that I'm not stuck in an underwater mortgage like so many people now.

I also dream of having my masters degree. The problem is that I most certainly do NOT dream of going back to school to get it!

I dream of taking my 14 year old daughter to Europe. I finally decided to do this one, and we are going next year! Definitely NOT frugal, especially with airfares where they are right now. But the time is right for us, so we're doing it, and so very excited!

I want to go to Alaska as a travel nurse - ALONE. Just me. No husband or kids to keep track of. Explore the last frontier - my pace, my interests. Thirteen weeks.

My dream is to buy a little house in the downtown area of my town and turn it into a therapy house, where you could get therapy(I'm in grad school to get my mft), and holistic help as well such as dream therapy, massage, etc. I'd also like to have my own positive messaged tshirt/sweatshirt line and that may actually come to fruition this year.

My dream is to live in the country, with a huge piece of land. Part flat and some with hills to go sledding in the winter. It would have a large pond or lake that is all mine and a river not too far away. That way I could go swimming and fishing in the warm months.
I would have a beautiful off-grid home that is cozy and beautiful. I would be married to a Gerard Butler look-alike but he would be taller and have brown eyes. Hey, this is a dream, right? lol
