Yesterday I wrote that I was putting my dreams on permanent hold.
Thanks to reading what Missy and others are doing I went to
bed and worked on a plan.
I will somehow find a place to start some houseplants in my home. I will then sell them at my lawnsales.
The money from the plants will be used to buy my glad bulbs
to plant next spring. These will be sold out on our front lawn.
The money from them will be put away for more bulbs plus
the material to build a greenhouse, where I will be able to start my vegetable plants to sell at the roadside.
my dream is NOW Officially back ON.
Thank you ladies for the encouragement.

It sounds like you have a great plan in place! Good luck! You'll make the world a more beautiful place with your flowers and plants!
    Follow your dream!

I love to drive by and stop at roadside stands with vegetables, flowers, etc.

I don't have an elaborate plan, I would just like my household and classroom to run smoothly!

I'll start with the steps to keep my house running smoothly:

~get up 1 hour before everyone else. I will be able to exercise, throw clothes in washer, empty dishwasher...
~assign children to clean up kitchen each night..there's three of them! I shouldn't be their slave! LOL
~assign DH to clean out vehicles once per week after he mows the grass
~I do all the cooking and laundry, dusting and vacuuming
~kids put away own clean clothes

I think I can do it! I've got to think about the classroom some more!

Wow! A blast from the past! I see I posted last in 2006 on this thread. I did manage to reach my goal. I've made a few hundred dollars at craft sales since then. Life has certainly got in the way.

I have a new dream now....to get this house completely renovated and salable. We worked on the outside this summer. I'm hoping DH and I can work on the inside this winter.

I started working on my recipes yesterday. I'm about 1/2 done with this and it only took an hour. I also added another $5 to my little savings account. Also unplugged an old computer no one uses. I'm so stoked about reaching my goals. I'ts amazing how easy they are to do once you set you mind to start doing them.

How is everyone doing? I have my little account over $100 and I'm waiting on a couple of rebates. Once I deposit them I will only need to save $15 more to reach my goal. I realize electric rates have gone up but I was really hoping to pay out less than last year. Too late, we just went over with the last bill. Oh well I'm going to disect our utility consumption until the new year and start a new goal then.
