I agree, education is invaluable. I am a Human Resource Management major too and will graduate in the spring. I'll have taken my last 4 semesters completely online. Maybe something you could look into.

I really want to add to this thread! I went to University after Highschool (the system is a bit different here in the Netherlands), but then did not finish due to several reasons. After 4 years of working as a secretary, I wanted to start studying again to finish my proper education. I was not entitled to any grants, scholarships or government help because I had already studied for 4 years. This also meant that I had to pay the full amount for a full time education each year, even though I could only follow a third of the courses because of my near-fulltime secretarial job. Things got into a mess (time and stress, not money luckily!). After another 8 years I finally did not make it. The government has changed the university system and I just did not have the energy to finish on time in the old system. My one luck is that they are lenient towards people who were students during the change, so now I will get a 'Bachelor of Arts' degree, but I was aiming for a Master's.

My point: get and finish your education as soon as you can, you never know what will happen to you or the education.

My husband and I got married about 3 months ago for less than a thousand dollars in a church with 30 guests. It's definitely do-able and if we could do it all over again exactly the same we would. We were left with 0 debt from our wedding. My parents paid for a marquee hire and caterers, his parents paid for alcohol and bought DH a new suit to wear that he needed for job interviews anyway. It was a beautiful day and we wouldn't change it. And unlike other friends who got married recently, we're not still paying for our wedding. One of my best friends still has $8,000 to go.
