Update...
Well my son completed his training and received his Level II certification for CNC Machining
. Taking those classes has really improved his confidence in himself and I have noticed how much he has matured over the past few months.
He also has completed the first step for trying to regain his driving privileges. Now we are just waiting for the Secretary of State's office to issue him a temporary permit so he can participate in on the road training. If he is able to complete the "On the Road" program successfully he should be able to regain his driver's license, which he is looking forward too....me? I am a whole lot nervous, he was an excellent driver pre-accident, but now he has so many issues (emotionally/attention/etc) that I worry what will happen if something happens to make him angry while he is driving. So I am doing a whole lot of praying that God will continue to watch over him and heal him so he can reach his life goals.
Luckily, his behavior has improved a lot and most days he ranges between the ages of 13-17...but, it's the days or moments when he acts like a pre-teen that can send you for a loop. It's hard when you have a person who is now 25 and has a man's body with the behavioral maturity of a teenager or younger. But, I would rather have him the way he is than to not have him at all.
Thanks for all of your good thoughts and prayers, they mean the world to me."Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." John Lennon
"Infinite goodness has wide arms." Dante
