green clean recipes&cheap green brands
some of these have been posted before and They are not "mine". everyone I have picked up from somewhere...
My fave. all-purpose/bathroom cleaner/spot remover/carpet cleaner/etc... There really is soooo many uses and this to me makes it truly "green"
1Part white vinager
1Part peroxide(this is not harmful to the environment)
2-3 parts water depending on strength you desire
20-30drops tea tree oil(more or less your choice)
10-20 drops lavendar oil, pine oil, lemon oil(all should be E.O. from health food store, this is more for smell factor)
I love this spray! I also mop with it! I really have associated the smell of vinager and tea tree with the smell of clean!
and this does not hurt breathing passages!
tree tea oil is antibacterial and soo is lavendar oil. so this is anti-mold.
scrub:
baking soda& dawn dish liquid
OR
baking soda and vinager
window cleaner:
vinager&water
OR
vinager&peroxide(same dilution as above but w/o E.O.'s)
Laundry detergent:
I really love trader joes powder! It's 15.00 bucks a box but goes a LONG way!
1/4scoop T.J. powder
coffee scoop of borax
for whites i also use the green oxy clean,or bac-out,or bluing. I love bluing!
Softener:
a few glugs of vinager in rinse cycle
super white-whites:
Lay whites on grass on a sunny day, oxygen in grass gets em' white, avoid dandylions!!!!
drying:
bought several dryer racks for indoors and out doors, they fold flat for easy storage, towels go out overnight to avoid crunchy towels and get an extra glug of vinager.
That is about all I use... I will have dh help me post a few pics of my gear!

Thanks for the tips. I didn't know about the whites and laying them on the grass. I will definitely have to try that one out.

Oh yeah I forgot!
~dusting~
i do dust...somtimes~
I use a barely damp rag
OR
i use cheap olive oil(99 cent sore canola&Olive oil blend) on a rag with a few drops of EO! I love sandlewood, rosewood, orange or a blend of all or two!
cleaning with the EO"s make cleaning more enjoyable! Seriously!

I picked up EO for the first time a few months back. So far, I have lavender and tea tree oil but I'm looking to add more to my collection. I did know about the olive oil for wood, but I think I will will look to purchase orange or sandlewood. Thanks for sharing!
