We find the taste of the food to be vastly superior to the supermarket items. It also seems more filling somehow. I think Momma's improved health is at least in part due to eating chemical-free.

It is one thing we as a family are willing to pay extra for.
i want to second the taste issue, i had almost forgotten what real, fresh from the earth non-humongo strawberries taste like, my DH was wow'ed

also i am jealous that you can get milk and eggs and fish..... i would never go to the market

My sister and BIL belong to a CSA in WI nad have for several years. They like to eat healthy and responsibly so this keeps them pointed the right direction. They get SO many veggies in the summer (the kids are on their own now) that they are semi-vegetarian just to eat it all.

BIL got a whole box of green beans last summer and made pickled dilly beans. I got a quart jar at Christmas and it was the BEST and most appreciated of many gifts, lol.
