Default 10 ways to recycle things we can't reuse...

I found an article from weather.com (of all places) that about recycling. Greebo will post the link for me (since I'm still a lurking a bit too much)...

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Thanks Gabe! I saw that picture and I was like, "What the heck?!?!" I don't think babies and small pieces of Styrofoam should ever be in a box together!

ROFL! I know what you meant, but I couldn't help but think that I've never put a baby in a box. I couldn't resist. Sorry!

You mean to tell me you've never let kids sleep on a bed of packing peanuts? For shame....

OMG - that's dangerous. One baby is awake. I would never do that. Now, off to read the link.

I agree. Even if it's used as a prop, it's a very poor idea to put a baby in a pile of styrofoam peanuts. It doesn't take long for a baby to choke on something that can fit in their mouth.

Thanks for the post. Our town has a drop off each year for paints, oil, really anything your not supposed to throw in the trash, no questions asked. They also have two recycling areas for glass, paper, cans, aluminum (I keep those).
The nuts we get from packaging for our trophies we give to a company that uses them.
Also another company will take any unusable appliance, computers. We take our old eyeglasses and donate them back to help someone who can't afford frames.

Same here. And apparently that cork recycling place just recently closed down.
