Sodium MYRETH sulfate!
So I recently bought some Jason natural shampoo to avoid the sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate. Well, I noticed that even some of the "natural" brands in the "natural" section of the store have SLS! Jason didn't so I got it and have been using it. Well today in the shower I was looking at the ingredients and it has sodium myreth sulfate. What's that? Well, I looked it up and it's basically a newly developed version of the same thing! Natural products use it now so they can get away with "SLS-free!" on their bottle.
UGH!
I paid like $5 for this THINKING it was worth it for my health!

It might be better to look for "Sulfate Free" shampoos. That way they can't sneak any version of it in there. The only ones I know of personally are Caudalie, which is actually a conditioning shampoo and it is amazing, and Jonathan. Both of those I used to sell at my BBW store. Here is a list I found. Most of them are pretty pricey.
ABBA-'True Curls' 10oz : $11.25
ALFA PARF-'Splendore-Hydrate' 9oz:$15.49
ALTERNA - 'Hemp Seed & Cavier'10oz:$16.99
BROCATO - 'Splash' 10oz:$9.45
DEVA -'Curl Low Poo' 12oz:$13.50
ENJOY- all Sulfate-Free 10oz:$12.99
J BEVERLY HILLS - 'Fragile-Colour-Safe' : 12 oz : $13.05
JONATHAN - 'Moisture' 8.4oz : $20.00
KENRA - 'Platinum' 10oz : $14.40
L'ANZA -'Healing Colour Care' 8oz:$16.50
MASTEY- 'Enove Creme Shampoo' 8oz:$9.90
OLE HENRICKSEN - 'Natural Hair Wash' 12oz:$22.00
OSMO- 'Essence Blinding Shine' 9.5oz:$10.99
PAVES PROF- 'Flawless' 8oz:$5.99
PRAVANA-'colour, hydrating, volumizing' 10oz. $12.55
PUREOLOGY-all 3 types 10oz : $21.60
SEXY HAIR- 'Healthy Sexy Soy Milk Chocolate' 13oz: $14.75
TREASURED LOCKS-'Nothing but Nature' Shampoo 10oz : $11.99
ZERRAN- 'Sulfate-Free' 8oz : $16.50

I am like a huge fan of Jason's products. I am going to check this out. I really like their face soap.
itsahumanzoo, that is interesting. In the 90's I was a huge fan of Brocato products. Splash was my favorite and their conditioner..Saturation.. was like the best ever. I thought they stopped making those products. Maybe just around here because I have not seen that brand in years.
I've always liked Abba.

I have a client that is allergic to the sulphates and the only thing she can use is the T-Gel shampoo.

I got so mad at my mil for this purpose. She threw a hissy fit b/c I was letting Wesley have a bubble bath and not using the Arbonne products for it. So for MY birthday she gave me Arbonne bubble bath to use for Wesley---and I check the ingredients and it also has the SLS which is what she was bitching about in the first place.
