they actually do work...my mom bought me some at x-mas and when she was visiting she kept putting all my veggies and banannas in them...i haven't used them since and that's just coz of pure lazyness i guess... but when she was here for 2 weeks it seemed like everything did last longer...she's been using them since they first came out and swears by them....

Yep, I got mine at Dollar General and have been very impressed. Veggies last a whole lot longer!

I split a box from Dollar General with my sister. I found bananas keep longer. Be careful someone doesn't accidently leave the bag open, especially if the bananas are several days old, because the will turn black in no time.
I normally don't use iceberg lettuce, but my SIL gave me a head when they went out of town unexpectedly and she didn't want it to go to waste, and it kept much longer than it normally would.
I've been pleased with them so far. I still like to vacuum-seal foods in a FoodSaver canister or in a canning jar using the FoodSaver Universal Lid as a way to keep them longer, too.

yep i gotta big ol' box of 70-some for last yule...
and those things are marvelous.
i used to end up throwing away at least a third of the produce i'd buy... i dont now.
i dont have to go to the store almost daily anymore... saves money, time, energy, etc...
and these bags help keep veggies/fruits fresher longer.
i'd recommend 'em to anyone!
AND they're re-useable (to a certain point).
i just wash mine out & reuse til they get ratty looking.
but that takes a while.
