Peak Season Ingredient Map, by State!
I have a data base that I use to track peak seasons of things. When I started it, there weren't any on the net, or not many, which gives you an idea of how old it is!
Anyway, I stumbled upon a peak ingredient map of the U.S. that lists by state every month what's in season. Yippee! Now I can look in NH and see what's coming into season locally without going to five or six different places.
Anyway, you select the month across the top and then click on the state you want.
The map can be found here:

Great site! Thanks for sharing, I bookmarked it as for Minnesota it says......The growing season is currently dormant here;
opt for items from storage, such as apples, pears, and root vegetables....... until July!!

Yeah, except in Idaho they are saying in April it is asparagus, apples and potatoes. Asparagus makes sense...but potatoes and apples??? Ummm, no. Those are still coming from cold storage (last years!!)
