Default Well, a few phone calls and emails later...

and I saved a few trees in around 30 minutes today. As some of you know we move quite a bit as we are a military family. Well, we moved in July and as most of those who have moved know the USPS does not forward catalogs. So, I'm getting all of my landlords (they used to live in my house before renting the house) catalogs and other various junk mail. So I made phone call after phone call after phone call and sent several emails but I have eliminated approximately 20 different mailings to my home. Yeah me!

For the moment all are going into recycling, but I'm so sick of all of the junk mail! ACK!

And just an FYI Office Depot is the only one that would not remove my address off of the mailing list on the phone because the names did not match over the phone. They made me email them

Great job of stopping all of those extra mailings. I hate going to mail box and finding alot of junk mail. I know that there is telephone number that you can get and you list your address on there no junk mail listing and that will stop the junk mail. I can't remember the number but if you google it the number should come up. I did the number and now I don't have anymore junk.

Some of this stuff was opted-in by the former resident so I needed to opt-out to make it stop.

If you find that number let me know. I did the number to stop all the credit card offers. Now I only get the ones that are tied to the ones that you have a "relationship" with. Skymiles, etc.

Okay, found a way to do it online and not to have to mail postcards in...

My MIL is gonna love me, not. She used to work for a DMA company and I was the type of consumer that would drive her INSANE, LMAO.

I need to be better about this. Seven years later I'm still getting junk mail for the former owner. I usually toss it, but I should call and get off the list. Also, I've had roommates and I sometimes get junk mail for them. Sometimes I will put it back in the mail, writing, "no longer here," but I think it's better if you contact them directly. Thanks for motivating me. I've recently gotten onto an Ikea catalogue list - don't know how, but need to get off of it.

    Lightbulb Junksz!!!

Yeah that was right! junk mails are really junks in a person's life Those really seems like a fly that keeps on staring or following you even you are trying to hide... As with my experience i really get mad about my credit card company...They keep on sending me updates and new offers even i have already made a telephone call in their office to say that i don't want credits anymore hohoho Yep that was right i have no more credit card in my wallet and it makes me less problematic about my monthly billings...
It is really important that we immediately take actions on every matter so as to avoid those nasty and disturbing scenarios...
