    Default Out with the old

We took a carload of junk to Goodwill today. They have been advertising on the radio that they are recycling computers and electronics and I thought it would be a good opportunity to get rid of the pile we have. I've been coaxing DH to go through and weed out stuff he knows is broken or so obsolete he will never use it. We took a bag full of parts (sound cards, modem cards, etc), 3 keyboards, 2 scanners, and a dead vcr in along with DH's old office chair and two bags of misc household stuff.

DH was excited when we got back and ready to take another load. It can't happen too soon. There are half a dozen monitors and 8-10 computer cases in the garage and basement, and unknown numbers of boxes of parts. Much of it has not been touched in a decade.

I am so looking forward to getting space back this spring!

Woo hoo! You should join the 2010 fling challenge and add them to the total flung already! Then you can tell your DH that you joined and you will really have space come spring!

Do you have a recycle center ?
Our's will take old computer stuff last I knew.
Just take it in and put it in a big cardboard box on a pallet.
