Default Food, Inc. to air on PBS tomorrow night (April 21)

If you haven't seen the movie Food, Inc. and you are at all concerned about the food that is made available to us at our local supermarket, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this film. It is airing on your local PBS channel tomorrow night (4/18) check here for your local listing.

The film covers areas dealing with GMOs, the meat industry, the poultry industry.....bascially, it just really opens your eyes up to our modern day food "crisis". By crisis, I don't mean we don't have enough food. We have plenty of "food", just not enough of the right kind!

This is a great opportunity to watch this movie for free. It's not a "story" movie, but rather a very informational (and gripping) documentary.

I watched this via Netflix streaming. I'm very glad I did. It gave me that final "push" I needed to buy only local, farm raised meats, eggs & veges.

I have seen it before, but I am planning to watch again. I'll try to convince my husband and sister to watch it with me too

This movie played a big part in my becoming vegan. I just can't eat meat anymore without thinking of the graphic images in this film! I definitely glad I saw it though!
