Smile where can I find a drying rack for clothes

Any ideas where I can find a drying rack for clothes? I am trying to cut my electric bill and want to put the drying rack on my back deck? How much do they cost?
    thanks

I am not sure what kind you are looking for. You can Google clothes drying rack and see various types. I have a wooden one that folds up and I got it at a garage sale for 50 cents. You can buy them new at Walmart. There are racks you can mount on the wall and pull out and I have seen them on Amazon. I also have a couple of rolling clothes racks that I put hanging clothes on and let them air dry outside when nice and inside when the weather is bad.

Can you run a clothes line? I have one on my patio at my apartment. I have a hook on posts opposite of each other and put up the line to dry sheets on when it was dry outside.

you could get the hooks and some cotton line for less than $5.00

I prefer the wooden drying racks vs the wire racks - less line dentage into the clothes once dry. Bought mine at Walmart, Canadian Tire and a garage sale too for $1. Love them!

I am curious about this too. I would like one of the umbrella types that have like 4 arms that come out from the center and have the lines that go around. I would also like it to fold down so in the winter I can take it down and store it in the house.

I wish I could send over my friend Ron. He made me the most amazing drying rack as a house warming gift when I got divorced.

I can only imagine how much he spent on the wood. I have to learn how to post a picture.

anyway, mine is about 5 feet tall, 3 1/2 wide, 5 rows with 4 racks per row. ITS HUGE!!! AND its collapsible so it could fit under the bed!

We have three of those too. I hope Libby didn't move in while I wasn't looking.

For the winter, you may also want to invest in a good dehumidifier - otherwise the windows will suffer from condensation and water may pool on the window sills.

You can get the umbrella type at Ace Hardware. Dh put a sleeve in the ground that it slips into. We take it to mow and so we can take it down in winter.

Exactly what we do! lol I have two of those mini drying racks in the house and then the huge outdoor one. I can fit a whole load using the combination of the three. I use them for everything (except towels)

In winter - my laundry air drying on the racks serve as a humidifier instead of a de-humidifier. I find with the heater on in winter makes the air super dry.

My rack that was purchased at a garage sale is like the one Libby pictured. You can find them at WalMart.
