That is the first thing my daughter said this morning.

She thought that might be why they had no school today.

Working at my job as an environmental consultant. Can't really call that a celebration though.

I was planning on taking part in a cleanup on one of the local islands, but DH needed the car all day to go to a meeting 2.5 hours away. Yeah, that's real green of us

Planted some native Illinois woodland flowers yesterday; planted some strawberries as well; tonight going to see a screening of the documentary Green Fire - about environmentalist Aldo Leopold. Tomorrow I'm killing some invasive non native plants! Death to thistle!

Went to Starbucks twice to get a free cup of coffee with my travel mug. I know not very green, but I was enjoying the free coffee. Will plant something later this week. lol

While I was already in town for a doc app. I went to the Natural Food store and bought some organic foodstuffs and some tea tree oil to make up some more all purpose cleaner. I also picked up some brewers yeast to help with the summer flea season for the two fur babies. And because it was Earth Day I got a free reuseable bag. It holds a lot and will come in handy when I am stock pile shopping.

I also hung out more laundry to dry.

We are having a no TV evening.

Hubby was going to plant more seedlings today, but he forgot to take the potting soil out of the car before I went into town.

I wish I could of done something more involved with a group.
