Talking Recycle Your Used Brita Pitcher Filters

Stumbled upon this by accident BUT its pretty cool to know that we can recycle the used filters vs chucking them into the landfill. The bonus is that its free shipping if you're recycling from Canada!!

FILTERFORGOOD | Recycle Your Brita® Pitcher Filter

Brita has teamed up with Preserve, a leading maker of 100 percent recycled household consumer goods, to collect and recycle Brita pitcher filters. Preserve’s Gimme 5 Program will transform the plastic from these filters into new Preserve products.

    Bumplett,

Would it be possible for me to obtain a .jpg of your avatar ?

My wife & I rescue dogs (and have done cats, too, in the past)

I'd like to have it on hand to past in at the tail end of some of my emails

Thanks in advance. You can email me at << va3rod@rac.ca >> to start communications.

    I'm assuming you're asking me?

Hi Rod - welcome to the village

There are several ways - you could save up $ in jars/envelopes at home. You can also have one main savings account and keep track using an spreadsheet or some other type of program and some banks do allow you to have multiple savings accounts - example ING Direct.

    Hope that helps
