Thanks for the link to the interesting article - my kids and I are veggies for many of those reasons, the most important being that we love animals (except not on our plates!)

While we do eat red meat on occasion the reason I don't is because it litterally GAGS me. The feel of it in my mouth just triggers something and I can't chew or swallow it.

The other reason is when I was about 9 I read somewhere that the average person has 5 lbs of undigested red meat in their colon by age 55. Well in my mind meat rots and I don't want anything rotting in my system! lol I know it sounds silly but, that's just how I feel about it.
